What changes the price of a house cleaning

Right now our booking form works out your price from the type of cleaning, your home's square footage, the number of bedrooms, the number of bathrooms, half bathrooms, the home's condition, pets in the home and the type of home (for example apartment, townhouse or house).

A bigger home or more bathrooms means more work, so it costs more. A home that hasn't been cleaned in a while costs more than one that's kept up, and a deep clean costs more than a standard clean because it covers more.

One-time vs. recurring cleaning

A one-time clean is priced on its own. If you book a recurring schedule (weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly), every visit is discounted, and the more often we come, the bigger the discount. The booking form shows the discount before you confirm.

Standard or deep clean: which one do you need?

A standard clean is maintenance: kitchens, bathrooms, dusting, floors and surfaces, from our written checklist. A deep clean adds the detail and buildup a regular clean skips, like baseboards, doors and trim, light switches and vents.

If your home hasn't had a professional clean in a while, start with a deep clean. After that, a recurring standard clean keeps it there at a lower price per visit.

What's included in the price

Every clean follows our written, room-by-room checklist, and our cleaners bring their own supplies and equipment. There's no travel fee anywhere in our service area: Charlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville, Concord, Harrisburg, Belmont, Gastonia, Fort Mill and Rock Hill.

Our cleaners are background checked, Vivid Space Solutions, LLC is insured (general liability of $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate), and if anything on the checklist was missed, tell us within 24 hours and we'll re-clean it free.

How much does house cleaning cost in Charlotte?

With us, a standard clean starts from $140 and a deep clean starts from $190. Those are the prices for the smallest homes; your exact price depends on your home and is shown in the booking form before you book.

Do you charge per hour or per visit?

Per visit. We charge a flat price for the job, based on your home and the type of cleaning, not an hourly rate, so the price you see is the price you pay for that clean.

Do I pay a deposit?

No deposit. We keep a card on file to hold your booking; a temporary hold is placed 24 hours before your cleaning, and the charge is processed when the job is done.

Is weekly cleaning cheaper than a one-time clean?

Yes. Weekly, every-2-weeks and monthly schedules are discounted on every visit, and weekly gets the biggest discount. The current discounts are listed on this page and in the booking form.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your arrival window and there's no charge. Later than that, a $50 late cancellation fee applies; turning the crew away at the door is a $75 no-show fee, and if we can't get in within 15 minutes of trying to reach you, a $50 lockout fee applies.

Are cleaning supplies included?

Yes. Our cleaners bring their own supplies and equipment. If you'd like us to use a product of your own, leave it out with a note.
